I FINAAAAALLY MANAGED TO FIND AN 18TH BDAY DRESS <3

Hope you enjoy looking at some of these photos from my 18th birthday party :) I wore a sequence long sleeve dress! i looked in lipsy, new look, topshop, miss selfridge, dorothy perkins and MORE and had NO luck :( but then i walked passed ZARA and saw that there was a sale on! soo, I bought this dress for only £20 in the zara sale - total bargain :') love it! <3 <3 <3

I had an interview for fashion design at birmingham last week, and got an offer :O i also have an interview at bristol tomorrow for fashion design too, so wish me luck! speak sooooooon, xxxxxxxxxx

i went charity shopping today, for the first time in aaaaages! i found loads of amazing bargains, i'll post them in the next few days :) hope you like what i wore today, the lysh cardigan was handed down to me by my mamgu (grandma in welsh) :P i love it, it's sooo comfy :) and the handbag was only £3 in primark! the next picture shows some earrings i bought in town today, they were quite reasonably priced, like £4 :D  the last picture is some yummy frozen yoghurt that me and my friends had earlier, mmm! speak soooooooon :) xxxxxxxx

These are a few photos of a little catwalk in the Birmingham clothes show jyst a few weeks ago :) the 5th picture is my favourite one, because it has such a structured design, very cool ;) as you can see, there are many designs which are sequence based, its an awesome trend :) i have 2 exams nearing, so there might not be any posts in the next week!!! wish me luck!! :P speak soooooon xxxxxxxxxxxx

Photoshoot

This is the final piece of my project in photo shoot! My whole project was based on nature, originally inspired by works from Vincent Van Gogh. As my project was all about nature, I decided to replicate a tree for my final piece. I did free machine embroidery on vanishing muslin to create the leaves. To make the tree trunk, I layered and melted lots of different fabrics, then I added some stitching. The grass and roots took ages to make, I felted them onto pieces of wire to get the correct shape. Hope you understand my concept!! More blogposts soon :)
